Today, as Vice President, Data Center & Infrastructure Security Solutions, Glenn Lemke leads one of Pavion’s fastest-growing businesses, supporting the complex security and infrastructure needs of data center customers across the country.
His journey to that role began three and a half years ago when he joined Pavion during a period of rapid growth and opportunity. Since then, he has helped build and expand a business that serves some of the nation’s most demanding and mission-critical environments.
After spending the better part of his career with one security company, Glenn took a leap. He left an established organization to join Pavion at an earlier, high-energy stage of its growth.
“I thought I knew just about everything there was to know about the security business,” Glenn said. “It didn’t take long for me to realize how much I still had to learn.”
That openness became one of his greatest strengths. Working within a fast-growing organization gave him a fresh perspective, not only on the security industry, but also on what it truly takes to build and operate a thriving business.
He developed a deeper appreciation for making decisions with an owner’s mentality and understanding how investments, hiring, and resources can impact the entire organization.
Most importantly, he had the opportunity to help shape and grow a business during a transformative period.
The momentum since then has been remarkable. Since Glenn joined Pavion, its Data Center business has grown nearly fivefold, and the team is aiming even higher, targeting another 60% of growth in 2026.
For Glenn, though, those milestones tell only part of the story.
“None of this happens because of one person,” he said. “It happens because of an outstanding team of sales professionals, engineers, project managers, technicians, support staff and leaders who work hard every day to deliver for our customers.”
That team-first spirit has powered the rise of Pavion’s Data Center vertical.
As data centers continue to expand and their security and infrastructure environments grow more complex, delivering an exceptional customer experience is just as important as delivering technical expertise. Customers need partners that can support large-scale, mission-critical facilities with the resources, consistency and responsiveness they can count on.
Pavion’s ongoing investment in its people and capabilities has positioned the organization to meet that need while continuing to set a high standard for customer service and operational excellence.
Glenn often describes himself as “the lucky guy who gets to lead the Data Center vertical.” But his time at Pavion has reinforced a leadership philosophy he holds close: the best and most sustainable growth comes from creating an environment where strong teams can truly thrive.
Every accomplishment along the way has been a team effort, bringing together sales, engineering, project management, field operations and leadership to support increasingly sophisticated customer environments.
For Glenn, watching that collaboration in action has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.
“The real success belongs to the team that makes it happen every single day.”
Three and a half years after making one of the biggest career decisions of his life, Glenn calls the move to Pavion one of the best decisions he’s ever made.
The experience reinforced a lesson that reaches far beyond the security industry:
Growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone.
Taking the risk to leave what was familiar gave Glenn the opportunity to learn, build, lead and work alongside a team capable of achieving more than he initially imagined.
And with significant growth still ahead for Pavion’s Data Center & Infrastructure Security Solutions business, he believes the best is yet to come.
“I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings, especially as we continue finding new ways to better serve our customers, enhance their experience and help them navigate increasingly complex security and infrastructure challenges.”
