Celebrating Women’s History Month: Amplifying Women’s Voices at Pavion

In honor of Women’s History Month, we are delighted to celebrate the remarkable voices transforming the culture at Pavion. Inviting you to our three-part podcast series, we delve into the inspirational journeys of our distinguished female employees — Tracy Brewer, Corina St. Jean, and Susan Post, exploring how they surmounted challenges and ignited impactful changes within the company.

A Snapshot of Resilience
Starting our conversation, Tracy introduced herself as the Director of Implementation, having dedicated four years to contributing to our growth at Pavion. Next, Corina, an HR Director, and Susan, the Chief Integration Strategy Officer, highlighted their respective journeys since joining Pavion in 2022 and three years ago, respectively.

Legacy of Women in History
The conversation moved towards the substantial contributions women have made, pushing the boundaries of resilience, perseverance, and tenacity. Our esteemed guests agreed upon the remarkable ability of women to transform adversity into triumph, setting an example that inspires countless others.

Lessons From Women of Influence
Connecting history with their lives, our guests shared about women who have deeply inspired them. Corina pointed towards Amelia Earhart, the pioneering female pilot known for her spirit of mentorship and advocacy. Susan credited Marie Curie’s relentless pursuit in scientific discovery, emphasizing her resilience. For Tracy, the heroism of Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to run the Boston Marathon, resonated the most.

Overcoming Challenges
Addressing the barriers women have surmounted to achieve influence, Susan emphasized the importance of focusing on the journey, the ‘how’ rather than the ‘who.’ Drawing examples from their inspirations, our guests concurred that resilience, perseverance, and audacity to challenge societal norms have played a crucial part in overcoming those challenges.

Turning Barriers into Opportunities
Susan highlighted the need for self-confidence and a readiness to ask questions, regardless of the setting. Corina advocated for taking small steps to have your voice heard, and Tracy encouraged us with a mantra, “Fake it till you make it.”

Personal Inspirations
For Susan and Tracy, their mothers stood as their foremost inspirations, demonstrating strength and resilience through life’s most challenging circumstances. Corina, drawing from her professional life, praised a former HR director for creating growth opportunities for her and the team.
